Playing with friends, from a phone

One room, four phones

A room holds 2 to 4 players. Make it private, and the only thing your friends need is the room code and the link — they open it in whatever browser is already on their phone, press Play, and they are standing in your lobby as guests.

Nobody buys anything, nobody installs anything, and nobody has to register before the first match. Accounts exist, but they are for keeping your progress across devices, not for getting in.

Getting your friends in

1. Open the game on your phone and press Play — a guest session is made for you, with no sign-up.
2. Create a room, set the size to the number of people you have, and keep it private.
3. Send the link and the room code to the group chat.
4. They open the link, press Play, enter the code, and they are in the lobby — as guests, on whatever they are holding.
5. When everyone is in, start the match and pick who owns which station before the first order lands.

Nobody has to be on the same device

A phone player and a laptop player are in the same room, in the same match, with the same controls — tap or click the floor to walk, walk into a station to use it. There is no phone version and no desktop version to keep in sync.

The one difference is physical: a phone is smaller, so the phone player usually takes a station they can reach in one tap rather than running the whole kitchen.

What makes a team work

• Voice chat is built in, so no second app and no call to set up before you start
• Agree who owns which station in the first ten seconds — two people on one pan is two people doing one job
• Keep somebody on plates and the sink during a rush; an empty plate rack stops the whole kitchen
• Duo, Trio and Squad are ranked separately, so three friends are a full team, not a short squad
• A group leaderboard spot needs the exact same people across at least 3 matches — swap one person and it counts as a new group

Where you meet before the match

The lobby is a room you walk around in, not a menu with a ready button. You can see who has arrived, wander over to the skin station and change how your chef looks while you wait for the last person to find the code.
