Co-op cooking games: one kitchen, the whole crew cooking

A co-op cooking game is one where every player is on the same side: the whole group runs one kitchen, works the same orders and shares one score. a Bit SaiGon is that kind of game, free to play online straight in a browser.

How co-op differs from a regular cooking game

A single-player cooking game is mostly about tapping fast enough for the timer. A co-op one is different: orders arrive faster than one person can cook, every dish passes through several stations, so the group has to split the work — prep, stove, plating, serving and washing up.

The fun is in the coordination. The kitchen is just cramped enough that people bump into each other, and a well-timed shout of "plates!" is worth more than any individual skill.

What makes a good co-op cooking game

How a Bit SaiGon does each of those

Each room holds 2 to 6 people in a Saigon street-food kitchen. Customers order at the counter or sit at a table and wait, some order a main and a side together, and dirty plates have to be washed nonstop. A match lasts a few minutes, and every map has three star targets based on the team score.

The team score is shared, but every action — fetching, cooking, plating, washing, serving — is credited to whoever did it. The end of a match hands out MVP and four side titles. Voice chat is built in, and the game runs straight in a desktop or phone browser: friends only need the link and the room code.
